Overview
 
Our client, a large US Technology company,  is looking for an experienced account manager to serve as the first point of contact for new and existing clients who want to implement a Corporate Rewards Program.
They will be responsible for the Nordic and UK markets and will focus on growing sales within Blue-Chip companies with a particular focus on those in the Automotive, Publishing and Airline industries.
The account manager is responsible for bulk product purchases as well as managing and implementing rewards projects through catalogues and points systems.
This role is based in our client’s European Headquarters in Cork but will involve extensive travel within EMEA.
 
Responsibilities
 
Key Accountabilities:
 
  • Deliver growth and revenue targets from targeted customer listings through Inbound and Outbound Activities.
  • Present proposals at CEO level
  • Manage all facets of a volume business including lead generation management, profiling, outbound calling, account visits and implementation of campaigns targeting key market segments in the appropriate Geography.
  • Maintain CRM tracking of all leads, pipeline, customer & internal partners contacts across all areas of influence (inventory, fulfillment, finance and Order Management)
  • Risk Assessment and Problem Solving Analysis.  Serve as a facilitator between the account and internal business partners when appropriate.
  • Deliver timely and accurate sales forecasting and reporting.
  • Develop a joint sales and marketing approach with channel partners to deliver on timely execution and communication of programs.
 
 
 
Skills & Attributes:
 
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is essential
  • Proficiency in German would be preferred
  • Strong, target driven, sales track record & Account management skills
  • Influencing and negotiating skills
  • Relationship building – all levels
  • Marketing communication skills
  • Detail conscious & Good analytical skills
  • Teamwork as well as ability to work on own initiative
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to understand and explain product features and benefits
 
 
Experience & Education:
 
  • 3-5 Years account management experience is required and knowledge of marketing and corporate rewards structures is a definite plus.
  • String IT knowledge
  • Identifying, tracking and closing multimillion-dollar deals and experience in the navigation of C-level decision makers is critical.
  • Experience managing a pipeline is essential
